Lauren Fitchett, Social Worker

In my role as a School Social Worker, I provide a variety of services to support students, families, and school staff. These services include consultation and education regarding socialization and school adjustment; acting as a school liaison to private and community agencies; providing counseling services to students individually and in small groups regarding school adjustment. In addition, I provide attendance interventions to promote and reinforce regular attendance with students and families.  As a member of the school support team, I attend and schedule child study and 504 meetings. Where indicated, I interview parents, provide social histories, and coordinate service delivery to students and families.
